Job Role:
- Plan, prioritize, and manage 5–7 concurrent IT infrastructure projects
- Establish and maintain an IT project portfolio with clear prioritization and resource planning
- Lead projects across networking, servers, virtualization, endpoint management, security, and IT operations
- Actively engage with technical teams to validate task sequencing and identify risks
- Deliver concise, one-page portfolio and project status reporting to leadership
- Support IT process maturity where applicable (incident, change, service management)
Requirements:
- Senior-level IT Project Management experience
- Prior hands-on experience in IT Operations
- Strong infrastructure knowledge (VMWare, Citrix, Windows, networking, storage)
- Ability to speak credibly with engineers and challenge execution plans
- Hybrid PM methodology experience (Waterfall + Agile where appropriate)
Required Technical Baseline:
- Virtualization: VMWare (required), Citrix or similar (required)
- Networking: TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, ports (conceptual)
- Storage & Backup: SAN/NAS, backups; vSAN/VEEAM a plus
- Windows OS management
- Databases: SQL concepts (instances, backups, logs)
- Endpoint / MDM: Intune, PDQ, SCCM (exposure)
*This is not a pure PMO or status-only role. The successful candidate must have prior IT Operations experience and enough technical depth to understand infrastructure dependencies, identify risks, and challenge execution plans when needed.
