The position and your daily adventures

This is a full-time position based in our Mexico City office with a hybrid model, therefore we are looking forward to seeing you in our office 2-3 times per week. 

What you can expect:

Our internal audit area is crucial to our business. They work closely with risk and compliance to create an internal risk management framework and to make sure they're running efficiently.

We are looking for a great team player auditor, who'll be responsible for covering regulatory compliance and finance risk management. Your role will include:

• Participation and conduction of audit fieldwork, through test execution as well as production of the final report together with the team.
• Present and jointly analyze audit reports with the areas involved
• Lead audits according to the annual program, as well as for needs that may arise.
• Develop, implement, and optimize data visualization and analysis tools to strengthen audit processes.
• Identification of issues and discussion with relevant stakeholders
• Follow- up actions plans to ensure their correct implementation
• Participate in continuous risk assessments and preparation the annual audit plan

You will be interacting with stakeholders from the first and second line of defense, you will also act as a knowledge multiplier, sharing your experience and training with other auditors to elevate the team´s technical skills, while actively participating in internal audit projects.

And you will be doing all this in a multicultural environment, full of new technologies and tools, having to continually study and understand the Klar environment, with the freedom and incentive to create new and more efficient ways of assessing the company´s risk.

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Business, Economics, Mathematics  or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience in the financial industry
• Knowledge of financial market regulations, including Mexican Banking and SOFIPO regulations, GRC frameworks, and issue management
• Thorough understanding of banking processes, internal audit, and internal controls
• Data analysis knowledge of tools such as Python or similar
• Strong analytical background
• Intermediate English proficiency
