We are designing our next generation eVTOL, and seeking self-driven, passionate, and experienced individuals to join our team. 

 

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Prepare detailed specifications and integration of Li-Ion battery systems with battery management system (BMS) into a usable aircraft battery pack.
  • Creates flow diagrams, sequence of operations, bill of material, system layouts, and electrical schematics as required to develop a battery pack suitable for a HV System
  • Creates test & integration plans, user manuals, installation guides, and commissioning plans.
  • Designs and configures technically complex lithium power systems as defined by internal teams.
  • Develops and tests software programs necessary to operate systems per the intent of the project requirements.
  • Identifies and resolves design issues and performs data analysis and generates comprehensive technical reports.
  • Manages systems throughout their life cycle and performs DFMEA, FEMA, 8-D, and other types of analysis when necessary.
  • Participates in advanced battery controls development and new concept design teams.
  • Coordinates system documentation releases and engineering change procedures
  • Develops aircraft battery packs suitable to be qualified for use in an aviation environment.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in electrical, software, and battery production
  • Experience working in a certification environment.
  • Working knowledge and experience, with high voltage electric vehicle (EV) and grid energy storage systems (GESS)
