POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Sr. Level HR Coordinator supports assigned client groups by delivering high-quality HR services across the employee lifecycle. This role combines direct HR operations with developing exposure to employee relations, performance management, and workforce planning. Working closely with senior HR leadership, this position provides guidance to managers and employees while ensuring compliance and organizational effectiveness.

Will need to be able to work West Coast Hours. 


ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES, include the following responsibilities, but not limited to:

  • Serve as a primary HR contact for assigned client groups, providing guidance on HR policies and procedures
  • Support performance management processes, including documentation, performance improvement plans, and corrective actions.
  • Assist managers in addressing employee relations matters, escalating complex issues as appropriate.
  • Partner with managers on workforce changes including promotions, compensation updates, and terminations.
  • Maintain accurate and organized employee files, processing employee status changes and related documentation.
  • Manage HR recordkeeping and reporting, including timekeeping and turnover tracking.
  • Facilitate verification of employment (VOE) requests and coordinate with The Work Number.
  • Support offboarding processes, including preparation of termination documentation and recovery of company-issued equipment.
  • Assist in workforce planning, succession planning, and high-potential tracking efforts.
  • Support HR initiatives, training programs, and organizational meetings.
  • Analyze basic HR metrics and provide insights into HR leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
  • Participate in HR-related projects and change management initiatives.

 

 

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • 2+ years of Human Resources experience (HR Coordinator, HR Generalist, or similar role preferred).
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Foundational knowledge of employee relations, performance management, and HR compliance. Ability to establish rapport and credibility with managers and employees.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level of integrity and confidentiality required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, fluid environment.

PHYSICAL and ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:   

This role operates in an ADA compliant office environment, utilizing typical office equipment and tasks including computer work. The position may involve partial stationary positions and moving throughout the day. Flexibility to work overtime to meet project deadlines is required.

 

Base Compensation Information –  

CMG pays a competitive base which ranges from $60,000 to $70,000 annually. Factors that affect base salary may include Human Resources experience, overall knowledge, number of years worked in Human resources, types of roles performed, computer skills, experience specific to working with mortgage professionals, and education.
