Objective
This position is responsible for recruitment activities across the company by working closely with hiring managers and candidates to understand position goals and objectives; screening resumes, interviewing applicants, reference checks, candidate selection and consulting with hiring managers to make job offers.
Responsibilities
- Partner with management to develop and execute strategic recruiting plans and processes to attain top-talent
- Identify recruiting sources, assess new talent and develop new methods to attract talent
- Serve as an ambassador of our firm when reaching out to candidates; cold calling candidates for positions and acting professionally in representing the firm
- Perform CV screening, Phone Screening, and facilitate in person interviews, all the way through to candidate offer process
- Manage candidate and hiring manager expectations to increase offer acceptance probability
- Track goals, metrics and performance of the hiring cycle; regularly communicate status and results
- Work closely with hiring managers to understand their needs in order to identify the right talent and ensure goals are met
- Propose and implement ongoing innovations and improvements to recruitment process
- Lead by example by maintaining all pertinent applicant and interview data in the Applicant Tracking System, ensuring maximum usage of the system
- Ensure all recruiting processes and applicant data is within OFCCP compliance
- Perform or participate in a variety of associated tasks which may include onboarding, job fairs, job fair planning, The Think Big program, MacAllister Technician School, and recruiting materials design
- Mentor fellow Talent Acquisition Representative on best recruiting practices
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Preferred experience in supervising others
Qualifications
Required:
- Associates or Bachelor's Degree with a business related concentration
- 7 years or more of experience in a professional recruiting capacity
Preferred:
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management or a related field
- 10 years or more of experience in recruiting in a Manufacturing or Industrial setting, with strong understanding of implementation of new processes
