Translate Data into Strategy

The Senior Financial Analyst – Reporting & Business Intelligence will be responsible for developing, implementing, and continuously improving reporting and dashboards across multiple business functions. This role partners closely with Finance, Sales, Operations, and other teams to improve visibility into performance, simplify reporting, and support data-driven decision making.

This position is designed to bridge the gap between financial fundamentals and modern BI capabilities, ensuring complex business needs are translated into clear, scalable reporting that drives operational efficiency.

Driving Impact Through:

Data, Systems & Process Improvement

  • BI Optimization: Utilize BI tools (Tableau, Domo, Power BI, etc)  to drive reporting efficiency and eliminate manual data processes.
  • Governance & Transparency: Document KPI definitions and reporting logic while collaborating with IT/Finance to understand data structures and integrations.
  • Reliability: Continuously improve data integrity and system integrations to ensure reliable outputs.

Reporting & Dashboard Ownership

  • Visualization & Design: Own the development and maintenance of intuitive, scalable dashboards across Finance, Sales, and Operations.
  • Standardization: Simplify and automate existing KPI packages to ensure reporting consistency and governance. (Advanced Excel Skills required)
  • Translation: Convert complex business questions and stakeholder needs into actionable reporting solutions.

Business Partnership

  • Commercial Support: Serve as the primary analytics partner for Sales leadership, focusing on backlog, bookings, revenue, and margin performance.
  • Actionable Insights: Partner with functional leaders to identify business drivers, trends, and risks through proactive data visualization.
  • Executive Support: Facilitate leadership presentations and strategic decision-making through high-level reporting and ad hoc analysis.

Financial & Analytical Support

  • Performance Monitoring: Conduct variance and trend analyses to monitor KPIs against business targets.
  • Strategic Growth: Build scalable reporting frameworks that support budgeting, forecasting, and evolving business initiatives.
