Sr. Field Applications Engineer Central Europe
The Field Applications Engineer will be part of the Central Europe Sales organization based in Munich and reporting to the Regional Sales Manager. This individual will assist the Sales Team technically to increase our market penetration and number of customers through laboratory, online and on-site support; spending 20% of the time traveling visiting customers.
Responsibilities:

Provide application and design support to customers

Provide the highest quality laboratory, online and on-site support to maintain our leading edge in the market place

Debug customers’ designs, recommending changes for improvements

Produce customized designs and hardware to meet customers’ requirements

Conduct periodical technical training to customers/distributors/workshops

Support Sales Team technically in the region to increase number of Design Wins and revenue

Traveling approximately 20% of the time (average)

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build and maintain successful and long-lasting client relationships

Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively

Detail-oriented and analytical engineer with passion for customer satisfaction

Experience in designing High Voltage transformer and AC/DC switch mode power supplies (industrial and consumer low power applications preferred)
Requirements:
-
BSEE or higher (MSc preferred) in Electronics Engineering
- Minimum 8 years of experience designing High Voltage Switch Mode Power Supplies, depending on level of education

Good background of High Voltage / Low Power Motor Drives Inverters is a plus

Outstanding teamwork and interpersonal skills with keen commercial awareness

Valid driving license and willingness to travel

Fluent in written and spoken English (German is a plus)
