We’re now looking for an ERP Consultant to join our growing delivery team. This role is ideal for professionals who can confidently drive complex ERP or SaaS implementation projects from start to finish while maintaining strong client relationships and profitability.


Role Overview

An inecta Food Senior Consultant owns and is responsible for all aspects of setup and implementation of specific project areas and provides guidance to the right resources outside their area. Develops “trusted advisor” relationships with clients, architects solutions, and recommends business best practices within their area.


Key Responsibilities:

inecta Food Skill

Is able to identify which features/functions of IF are most appropriate to a given situation or to a client’s business needs. Strong understanding of most capabilities of inecta Food and top tier expertise in at least one major functional area, such as accounting or warehouse or manufacturing.


Demo and Training Delivery

Guides clients/prospects to understand business best practice and which features/functions are most appropriate to address which business requirements, within their functional area(s). Answer escalated questions and provide training on any/all topics in their area(s).


Story Writing

Writes stories of all levels within their functional areas, including architecting complete solutions, correctly following inecta standards; write stories that contribute to complex multi-functional-area solutions.


Testing, Documentation & Updating Project Plans

Tests and documents per inecta standards; tests to ensure mod meet client needs and expectations; create “business problem statement” specs “business problem and as is” as well as “how to” and full workflow documentation that is clear and correct. Keep assigned project plan lines and DevOps work items correct and up to date. Ensure project plan within your complete area is up to date, accurate, and complete.


Client Handling

Has a positive direct relationship with key client/prospect contacts for all projects they are working on. Builds and maintains “trusted advisor” relationships with client/prospects; is responsible for maintaining strong relations with clients/prospects in their project parts/functional areas of a project and acting as Backup Lead for projects when Lead is unavailable. Travels to client/prospect site when and as requested.

 
Requirements:

Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Business Central and/or inecta Food

Strong understanding of most capabilities of inecta Food and/or Business Central/Navision, and very solid competency in at least one major functional area of IF/BC/Nav, such as accounting or warehouse or manufacturing.


Consulting & Implementation Experience
Either significant consulting experience playing a major role in at least 5+ successful ERP implementations, or enterprise experience leading skills with major involvement in internal BC/NAV/IF implementation.


Consulting and client handling skills
Demonstrated history of clear and responsive client communication, dependable completion of work, and customer expectation management skills required. Demonstrated ability to form and maintain “trusted advisor” relationship is a plus.


Travel & Client Site Work
Willing and able to travel approx. 25%; have or can get and keep a valid passport. Physically and mentally able to navigate food client facilities which can include standing and walking for several hours, loud noises, bright or flashing lights, climbing stairs and ladders, working in protective/sanitary gear such as hair nets, gloves, boots or shoe covers, lab coats or coveralls; proximity to food products including raw meat and/or live animals; reacting to visual and auditory safety cues.


Strong Plus:

  • Strong general technical literacy including skill with excel and understanding of how databases work
  • Experience in the food industry, especially around processing, manufacturing, and/or distribution
  • Experience with software design, integrations, and APIs


Education:

  • Degree in accounting, finance, business, MIS, computer information systems, or similar, or equivalent experience
  • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills
  • Self-starter who works well independently but is also a team player
