Sr. DevOps Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure automation using tools like Ansible, Terraform, and AWS CloudFormation.

• Manage cloud infrastructure in AWS, including compute, networking, storage, and security components.

• Administer and support containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, CircleCI, GitHub Actions, or other related tools.

• Automate monitoring, logging, and alerting using tools like Grafana, Prometheus, and Datadog.

• Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of applications in production.

• Implement security best practices across infrastructure and operations.

• Troubleshoot and resolve performance, infrastructure, and application issues.

• Work closely with development teams to ensure smooth deployments and a seamless workflow.

• Contribute to incident management processes and maintain uptime SLAs.

• Support and mentor other engineers and collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

• 4-5 years of hands-on experience with infrastructure automation tools like Ansible, Terraform, or similar.

• Strong experience working with AWS, including services such as EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC, and more.

• Proficiency in containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.

• Solid experience in Linux system administration and scripting in Bash and Python.

• Proven experience in implementing CI/CD pipelines with tools like Jenkins, CircleCI, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, or FluxCD.

• Familiar with security best practices for cloud and infrastructure environments (e.g., IAM, encryption, secrets management).

• Experience working with monitoring and alerting tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, and ideally Datadog.

• A passion for automation and improving operational efficiency.

• Ability to collaborate and support others in a fast-paced, growing environment.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  

  Nice to Have

  • Experience with data sources such as MariaDB, Cassandra, Redis, Redshift, or Elasticsearch.

  • Knowledge of incident management processes and experience in post-mortem analysis.

  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and experience deploying multi-cloud solutions.

  • A strong understanding of DevSecOps practices, including vulnerability scanning and threat modeling.
