About the Role:
Lyra is transforming mental health care by creating a frictionless experience for members, providers, and employers. We connect companies and their employees to mental health providers, therapy, and coaching programs that work.
We are looking for a product-minded Sr. Data Scientist who cares about impact, ownership and cross functional collaboration for the Client Enrollment team. You will work closely with Lyra’s Product, Engineering, and Operations teams to deliver a seamless search experience that will provide new members with personalized treatment recommendations and connect them with the best providers for their mental health needs. You will gain a deep understanding of how search works, both from the user interface, from the machine learning perspective, as well as how it contributes to Lyra’s growth.

Responsibilities
Become an expert in the data we collect and use that data to enable us to create the highest quality product for our clients
Develop comprehensive analyses from diverse data sources to answer questions related to the client care journey
Translate data insights into recommendations on business strategy and product roadmaps
Partner with data engineers to build pipelines that apply clinical logic to raw data
Complete time-sensitive ad hoc data requests for internal and external stakeholders
Qualifications
5+ years of data analysis in an industry setting with a preference for individuals who have experience in product analytics and have partnered with engineering and product teams in prior roles.
Demonstrated understanding of statistical applications and methods (experimentation, probabilities, regression). Experience applying hypothesis testing in an industry or research setting.
Graduate-level Statistics coursework with MS in a quantitative field is preferred (statistics, econometrics, biostatistics, quantitative social sciences).
Experience with Python, including cleaning and analyzing data as well as using Python to parse JSON structured data, call APIs, create user-defined functions, and automate.
Experience developing comprehensive analyses using irregular data from disparate sources. Willing to do whatever it takes to clean messy data prior to deriving insights.
Strong SQL proficiency. Experience writing complex queries with multiple schemas and tables. Preference for candidates who have experience creating views. Experience with Tableau is a plus.
Excellent communication skills and experience collaborating across multiple functions
Ability to deliver time-sensitive ad-hoc analyses requested by leadership.
Interest in public health a plus
