Position Summary
The Sr. Business Systems Analyst II serves as a strategic partner between IT and our Supply Chain business teams, ensuring seamless operations and continuous improvement of our SAP EWM system. This role is critical for driving operational excellence, managing internal AMS resources, and fostering strong business relationships to deliver solutions that support Shutterfly’s growth and customer experience.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
•    Configure SAP systems according to defined requirements.
•    Lead and coordinate the internal Application Managed Services (AMS) team, ensuring effective resource allocation, task prioritization, and timely delivery of support and enhancements.
•    Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with the Supply Chain team to understand operational needs, translate requirements into system solutions, and ensure alignment between technology and business objectives.
•    Collaborate with procurement and planning stakeholders to optimize EWM processes and synchronize upstream/downstream operations.
•    Plan and organize project tasks, report progress, and manage internal and AMS partner resources.
•    Create and execute test plans, test cases, and scripts; maintain system documentation.
•    Resolve support incidents and provide ongoing system support.
•    Develop and maintain data tools and reports in SAP S/4 HANA.
•    Research OSS notes and upcoming S/4 EWM releases to stay ahead of system improvements.
Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications
•    Strong working knowledge of SAP EWM processes, Handling Units, and master data integration with core S/4.
•    In-depth understanding of modern system integration techniques between SAP and other cloud and on-prem applications.
•    Technical expertise in setting up and configuring SAP EWM master data.
•    Understanding of EWM label and packing list printing.
•    Experience with handheld devices integrated with EWM.
•    Cross-functional knowledge of SAP Purchasing, Production Planning, and Sales and Distribution.
•    Thorough understanding of SAP material master data and maintenance tools.
•    Deep understanding of SAP EWM processes in receiving, put-away, stock movement, stock types, physical inventory, cycle counting, and outbound processes.
•    Excellent business acumen and ability to connect with business stakeholders.
•    Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
•    Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
•    Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Education and Experience
•    Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a technical background: Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or Logistics-related fields.
•    5+ years implementing and supporting SAP applications.
•    5+ years implementing SAP processes in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
•    Winshuttle Studio and Runner experience is a plus.
•    SAP S/4 data maintenance tools and reports experience.

The compensation package for this role is based on multiple factors, such as job level, responsibilities, location, and candidate experience. The base pay ranges included below are specific to the locations listed, and may not be applicable to other locations.

California : [$106,000-[151,000]

Connecticut and New York: [$106,000-$138,250]

Colorado, Illinois, Minnesota and Washington: [$106,000-$128,000]

Nevada: [$99,750-$138,250]

Maryland and New Jersey: [$114,500-$138,250]

Hawaii : [$99,750 – $120,250]

This opportunity can be remote, but candidates must reside in a state in which Shutterfly is registered to do business. This includes all US states except District of Columbia, North Dakota, Mississippi, Rhode Island, Vermont, and Wyoming.
