A Sr. Business Process Analyst career opportunity is available with the City of Fort Worth Transportation & Public Works (TPW) Department. This position is part of the Business Support Division and supports a collaborative team focused on capital project delivery, financial tracking, and system optimization.

Serving as the Trimble Unity Construct/ e-Builder Administrator, this role is responsible for administering, configuring, and supporting the e-Builder project management system for TPW users, consultants, and contractors, including workflow configuration, data management, reporting, and end-user support. The position supports a large and diverse user base of approximately 1,400 users across more than 800 active projects, including a mobile field workforce, and plays a key role in ensuring system reliability, usability, and scalability across the TPW department.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field
  • Five (5) or more years of business experience and business analysis experience
  • Valid driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience providing customer and end-user support
  • Defining user requirements and writing configuration specs
  • Experience with SQL-based reporting, data extraction, data validation, and supporting data visualization and dashboards
  • Creating and documenting business processes and standard operating procedures

The Sr. Business Process Analyst’s job responsibilities include: 

  • Serve as the Trimble Unity Construct (e-Builder) System Administrator for the Transportation & Public Works Department, overseeing system configuration, maintenance, configure workflows, business rules, forms, roles, permissions, and security and day-to-day operations.
  • Provide system support and troubleshooting for a large and diverse user base.
  • Partner with project managers, finance, engineering, construction, IT, and leadership to gather business requirements and translate them into effective system configurations and enhancements.
  • Lead and support small to medium system improvement initiatives, including new module implementations, workflow optimization, and process standardization.
  • Develop, maintain, and deliver SQL-based reports, dashboards, and data extracts to support project controls, executive reporting, and decision-making.
  • Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across projects by establishing validation processes.
  • Create and maintain business process documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and user guides to support system adoption and consistency.
  • Coordinate user onboarding, training, and change management, including documentation and support for new functionality and system updates.
  • Support initiatives that leverage GIS, spatial data, and location intelligence to enhance reporting and operational insights.
  • Support integrations from the PMIS to PeopleSoft Financial, Accela, Headlight, and Oracle Primavera P6.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned in support of departmental objectives.
