As a Senior Business Intelligence Developer and consultant, you’ll play a key role in working with our clients designing and maintaining Power BI data models , supporting the migration of Power BI reports from SQL Server to Snowflake. You’ll work closely with data engineers, analytics partners, and project stakeholders to ensure trusted, scalable, and high-performing analytics solutions.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Design, develop, and maintain Power BI data models using best practices for performance, scalability, and usability.
- Lead and support the migration of Power BI reports and data models from SQL Server to Snowflake.
- Partner with data engineering teams to align Power BI models with Snowflake data structures and transformation logic.
- Work with project stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into clear, actionable reporting solutions.
- Optimize DAX measures, calculated columns, and model relationships for performance and clarity.
- Ensure consistency in metrics, dimensions, and definitions across reports and subject areas.
- Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, and reduce technical debt in existing Power BI content.
- Support data validation and reconciliation efforts during platform migrations.
- Promote BI best practices including version control, documentation, and deployment workflows.
- Assist in establishing standards for Power BI development, governance, and lifecycle management.
- Provide production support for critical BI assets, ensuring reliability and trust in reporting.
WHAT YOU'VE DONE
- You have a university degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. or equivalent experience.
- You bring 5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Analytics Engineering, or Data Analytics roles.

You have deep hands-on experience with Power BI, including:
- Data modeling
- DAX
- Performance optimization
- Data design for self-service analytics
- You have strong SQL skills and experience working with SQL Server.
- You have experience supporting or leading BI migrations (on-prem to cloud and/or platform-to-platform).
- You’ve worked with cloud data warehouses, with Snowflake experience strongly preferred.
- You understand dimensional modeling concepts (e.g., Kimball) and how they apply to BI semantic layers.
- You’re comfortable collaborating with data engineers and analysts.
- You have experience working in Agile or iterative delivery environments
