About the Role:
As a key member of Lyra’s legal team, you will be instrumental in supporting the department's expanding operations and furthering Lyra’s mission to provide mental health solutions to employers nationwide. You will be responsible for building scalable processes that enhance the efficiency and operational excellence of the commercial contracting team and the broader legal department. A core aspect of this role involves optimizing and managing legal technology systems. This includes leveraging and maximizing the capabilities of Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) tool, Ironclad, as well Salesforce, ServiceNow and other management systems.
The successful candidate will be a highly organized, detail-oriented, and results-driven professional with a minimum of 5 years of experience working with CLM tools and legal technology systems. You must be proactive, customer service-oriented, and capable of operating autonomously with limited day-to-day oversight. This role requires the ability to adapt to shifting priorities, business drivers, and organizational needs, thriving in a fast-paced and dynamic environment while executing effectively and collaborating proactively with various cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
Contracting Workflow Management:
Serve as a key legal partner by supporting the commercial contracting team and other business stakeholders throughout the contracting process.
Ensure a compliant and efficient contracting workflow.
Draft and review contracts, adhering to approved business guidelines.
Legal Technology & Operations:
Administer and maintain the legal technology stack, including the contract repository, workflows, templates, playbooks, and system integrations.
Proactively identify opportunities for process and workflow enhancements while managing internal legal operations.
Stay current with the latest legal operations industry trends and technology developments.
Project Management & Training:
Lead and support various legal operations projects from initiation through implementation and completion.
Develop and deliver internal training and support programs for legal management tools and contracting processes.
Team Support & Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Support various Legal team members in resolving both internal and external requests.
Cultivate strong cross-functional relationships with business stakeholders across all levels of the company.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
5+ years of experience in project management, sales, and business operations. A background within a law firm or in-house legal department (e.g., legal operations, contracts administration, or paralegal) is required, with a preference for experience in the healthcare sector.
Proficiency with legal management tools, specifically in areas such as Contracts Lifecycle Management (CLM), supplier/procurement software, and CRM systems. Direct experience with Ironclad, ServiceNow, Brightflag, Coupa, and Salesforce is highly desirable.
Demonstrated technical aptitude, including the ability to rapidly master and maintain new software and technology, and effectively communicate technical support to users.
Detail-Oriented Problem Solver: Highly organized with the ability to take initiative, drive both strategic and tactical objectives, manage shifting priorities, and independently bring projects to successful completion.
Entrepreneurial & Adaptable: Possesses an ownership mentality and the ability to thrive and manage competing priorities within a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.

Data-Driven: Experience in developing impactful reports that not only provide information but actively drive decision-making and action.
