What you’ll do:

  • Provide subject matter expertise to the government customer on the design, deployment, configuration, management, and modernization of container orchestration infrastructure.
  • Design, deploy, and sustain container orchestration infrastructure including node provisioning, control plane configuration, lifecycle management, and storage and networking integration while ensuring high availability, scalability, and stability.
  • Manage and optimize core infrastructure components and integrations such as container orchestration, CSL CNI, observability, and other plugins to ensure secure, performant, and resilient containerized workloads.
  • Establish and maintain a high level of customer trust and confidence with your knowledge and skills, and use your creativity to provide innovative solutions that fit the customer’s needs.

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • An active Top Secret with SCI eligibility security clearance.
  • Possess a BA/BS in a technology related discipline
  • 5 years of experience in designing, deploying, operating, and maintaining Al-related infrastructure; and an additional 5 years of experience in designing, deploying, operating, and maintaining containerized or virtualized infrastructure.
  • Possess the requisite qualifications for DoD 8140 DoD Cyber Work Force (DCWF) Role 623 Al/ML Specialist, 624 Data Operations Specialist. 628 Software/Cloud Architect, or 451 Systems Administrator.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting projects of similar size, scope, and complexity.

SALARY RANGE: $165,000 - $207,000

The salary range for this position is determined based on qualifications, skills, and relevant experience. The final salary offered will be determined based on several factors including: 

  • The candidate's professional background and relevant work experience
  • The specific responsibilities of the role and organizational needs
  • Internal equity and alignment with current team compensation
  • This role is also eligible for additional compensation, subject to the terms and policies of MetroStar, which may include:
    • Performance-based bonuses
    • Company-paid training and/or certifications
    • Referral bonuses
