Position: Software Quality Assurance Engineer

Location: Devsinc, Lahore Office

Overview: Devsinc is looking for a dedicated Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through thorough testing and quality assurance practices. Your attention to detail and passion for delivering high-quality software will play a crucial role in our development processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on software requirements.
• Conduct manual testing to identify defects and usability issues within applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and clarify project specifications.
• Perform regression testing to ensure that changes and enhancements do not adversely affect existing functionalities.
• Document and communicate test results, defects, and issues to the development team in a clear and timely manner.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality considerations.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies in software testing.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in software quality assurance or testing.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and processes.
• Experience in writing and executing test cases and documenting results.
• Familiarity with automated testing tools is a plus.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
