Senior QA Engineer

TLDR

Own end-to-end QA responsibilities for the JavaScript charting library, leading a team and collaborating across departments to enhance product quality.

The Senior QA Engineer will own the end-to- end QA activities for FusionCharts JavaScript charting library. This includes understanding existing QA processes (Manual and Automated), further defining new methods, systems or technologies as required. Lead a QA team of QA engineers. This role will require working with multiple teams to achieve organizational goals.

Roles & responsibilities:

  • Designing test cycles with end-to- end test plans and defining test execution strategy with Entry/Exit criteria with effort estimation
  • Setting up automated regression testing and unit testing scripts
  • Working closely with product design team to define the QA activities for an upcoming product

Skills required:

  • Experience in automating test cases using Selenium or QTP and owning the different stages of SDTLC
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (preferably in JavaScript)
  • Should be able to lead a team
