Sportsbook Control Manager

ABOUT THE ROLE

We're looking for someone to join our Bookmaking team and take ownership of how we run our Sportsbook across different markets. You'll be the person who liaises with the central control functions to understand the requirements, and then turn their guidance into clear processes that the Bookmaking Operations can follow every day. You'll handle everything from implementing guidance on which bets may be offered in different jurisdictions to how we manage accounts and maintain integrity. Basically, you'll be the go-to person who keeps our Bookmaking Control Operations running smoothly, consistently and in line with Compliance and Legal guidance - so the rest of the Bookmaking teams can focus on what they do best.

YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

• Govern how the Sportsbook bet offering is applied in each jurisdiction, working with Compliance to make sure day-to-day operations actually reflect regulatory requirements.
• Own the playbook for Bookmaking controls. Keep procedures updated, in line with corporate governance requirements, and make sure they're practical for the workflows people actually use.
• Own and coordinate bet and account-handling operational procedures, and ensure integrity processes are embedded across operations.
• Ensure that our Sportsbook Terms & Conditions are kept current as products evolve, coordinating with stakeholders to make sure everything aligns.
• Be the bridge between Compliance, Legal, Risk and the Bookmaking team. Translate complex requirements into clear, actionable procedures.
• Support launches and market changes by coordinating what Bookmaking needs for new markets, migrations or licensing updates, including documentation and testing.
• Co-run integrity operations with Risk Managers - maintain reporting flows and coordinate integrity topics with internal teams and sporting bodies.
• Maintain key relationships with sporting bodies and continuously improve how we handle integrity workflows.
• Oversee access and monitoring for Bookmaking tools, supporting regular risk assessments.
• Create documentation and training that actually helps people do their jobs - handbooks, confluence pages, training sessions so everyone applies controls consistently.
• Support Compliance and Legal by coordinating Bookmaking inputs for customer and regulator queries - you'll gather facts and provide operational context, while Compliance and Legal handle the resolution.
• Report on what matters: provide updates on controls, integrity trends and operational changes impacting Bookmaking.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

• 3+ years in Sportsbook or Bookmaking operations where you've worked hands-on with market offerings, operational procedures and running things across multiple jurisdictions.
• You understand how Sportsbooks work: trading, settlements, account operations, the whole picture.
• You're great at taking complicated Compliance language and turning it into clear processes, documentation and training that people can actually understand and use.
• Strong relationship builder. Comfortable working with Compliance, Legal, Risk Teams and external partners.
• Organized and detail-focused, with good judgment and the confidence to set standards and hold teams to them.

NICE TO HAVES

• Experience working across multiple regulated markets and adapting processes for each.
• Project or change management experience (launches, migrations, regulatory updates)
• Background in Sportsbook controls automation or process optimization.
• Exposure to integrity operations (working with sporting bodies and integrity units)
