About the Role

Diageo Ireland is seeking a passionate and experienced Brand and Advocacy Ambassador to represent our premium spirits portfolio within the on-trade sector. This is a unique opportunity to become the face of iconic brands, inspiring industry professionals and consumers through immersive tastings, engaging training, and unforgettable events.

As a key member of our advocacy team, you’ll combine deep cocktail knowledge with natural charisma and a passion for storytelling. You will champion our brand in top-tier bars, restaurants, and events—bringing Advocacy and Hospitality across the island of Ireland.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a passionate advocate for Diageo Irelands luxury spirit brands across the on-trade sector
  • Build and nurture relationships with bartenders, bar owners, and key decision-makers
  • Deliver high-impact trainings, tastings, and brand education sessions
  • Support national and regional brand events, activations, and festivals
  • Provide expert-level cocktail knowledge and serve as a resource for the on-trade community
  • Collaborate with the commercial and marketing teams to support brand objectives
  • Provide feedback from the trade to influence brand strategy and execution

 

Requirements

Skills & Experience Required

Minimum 4 years’ experience working in the on-trade (e.g., bars, restaurants, hotels)

High-level cocktail knowledge and mixology experience

Confident public speaker with experience leading trainings, tastings, or events

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Full Irish driving license (essential)

Willingness to travel at least 2-3 days per week

Flexible with working hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
