 A Specialist BI developer is responsible for working on development of Dashboards & Reports for various domains. Here's an overview of what you might expect in a job description for this role.

  • Understand business requirements and translate them into technical implementation.
  • High accountability of delivering planned work
  • Create and maintain positive and productive working relationships across teams.
  • Mentor other team members

Have you got what it takes? 

  • Bachelor/Master of Engineering Degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering or equivalent from reputed institute
  • 8-12 years of software development experience
  • Working experience in atleast of the following BI tools – MicroStrategy, Clearview, Power BI.
  • Proven expertise in Designing and Developing BI Reports and Dashboards using any BI tool
  • Strong analytical & troubleshooting skills.
  • Proven ability to design and develop complex reporting solutions
  • Strong SQL skills with experience in query optimization & SQL designing.
  • Strong Data modelling concepts
  • Knowledge of working on Snowflake DB
  • Knowledge on Report Automation, DevOps and Cloud deployments.
  • Knowledge about Agile methodologies and experience in managing teams in Scrum Framework.

 

You will have an advantage if you also have:

  • Experience with public cloud infrastructure and technologies such as AWS/Azure/GCP etc
  • Experience working in and driving Continuous Integration and Delivery practices using industry standard tools such as Jenkins.
