At NiCE, we don’t limit our challenges. We challenge our limits. Always. We’re ambitious. We’re game changers. And we play to win. We set the highest standards and execute beyond them. And if you’re like us, we can offer you the ultimate career opportunity that will light a fire within you.

So, what’s the role all about?

Within Actimize, the Platform Solutions Team is building the next-generation advanced entity resolution and quality assurance solution, designed to empower our clients’ Financial Crime programs by providing richer data and added value to Alert Investigator. As part of our development group, you will be responsible for developing Actimize cloud-based solutions and working with cutting-edge cloud technologies.

How will you make an impact?

Serve as a top-performing engineer by leading the redesign and optimization of our products, which were originally tailored for on-premises environments, to make them truly cloud-ready, effective, and maintainable. You’ll play a key role in evolving these solutions on our AWS-based internal cloud platform, with a strong focus on resiliency, operability, and supportability as core principles during all stages of design and development.

Main Responsibilities and Deliverables:

  • Actively collaborate with architects and senior engineers to drive the re-architecture and modernization of products and services, ensuring they are aligned with best practices for cloud-native development and operational excellence on AWS.
  • Identify and resolve architectural bottlenecks and design limitations, proactively recommending and implementing concrete solutions that boost scalability, maintainability, and cloud compatibility.
  • Lead communication and documentation of all design shifts and modernization initiatives by producing clear code, comprehensive technical documentation, and facilitating in-depth discussions with both internal and cross-functional partners.
  • Champion high standards by setting the example in code quality, automated testing, and reliability, especially as software is migrated and enhanced for the cloud; ensure that robust cloud-oriented practices are embedded throughout the lifecycle.
  • Mentor and support teammates, promoting openness in knowledge sharing and making “thinking out loud” brainstorming sessions a regular part of team culture.
  • Guide agile teams to deliver cloud-optimized solutions, encouraging continuous improvement and collaboration on every release.
