To further strengthen our Corporate Legal & Compliance Unit, we are looking for a

Specialist Compliance, Internal Controls & Risk Management (f/m/d)
(Hybrid in Cologne or remote within Germany / Full-time / Permanent contract)

Your Responsibilities

• Responsible for the setup, further development, and implementation of our group-wide Compliance Management System

• Development, maintenance, and governance of policies, codes of conduct, and process guidelines

• Conducting compliance risk assessments and deriving effective preventive and control measures

• Planning and delivering compliance training and awareness formats for employees and leadership

• Establishing, documenting, and continuously improving the internal control system (ICS) in collaboration with Finance & IT

• Performing control testing, effectiveness reviews, and supporting internal and external audits

• Overall responsibility for company-wide risk management, including risk assessments, risk register, and reporting

Requirements

Your Profile

• Completed university degree, e.g., in Business Law, Business Administration, Law, or a comparable qualification

• Several years of professional experience in at least two of the following areas: Compliance Management, Internal Controls (ICS), Risk Management

• Proven experience in drafting and implementing policies, control mechanisms, and governance structures

• Strong understanding of structural, procedural, and organizational frameworks

• Ideally, knowledge in information security or cybersecurity (e.g., DORA, NIS-2)

• Analytical and structured working style with clear communication skills – even when dealing with complex topics

• Fluent in German and English
