The Role

We are looking for native Spanish speakers with strong dialectal and cultural knowledge to annotate speech data. Accurate annotation across European and Latin American dialects is essential to produce high-quality AI training data.

Key Responsibilities

• Transcribe Spanish speech accurately, distinguishing dialectal differences (Spain vs. Latin America).
• Annotate pronunciation variants, connected speech phenomena, and verb conjugation.
• Tag paralinguistic events such as hesitations, laughs, or background noises.
• Ensure transcriptions reflect formal and informal registers correctly.
• Maintain annotation consistency and adhere to internal quality standards.

Requirements

Requirements

• Native-level proficiency in Spanish with awareness of dialects.
• Strong understanding of phonetics, grammar, and register variation.
• Cultural familiarity with both European and Latin American contexts.
• Excellent writing, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in linguistics, transcription, or speech annotation.
• Familiarity with generative AI or machine learning concepts.
