Spanish Help Line Specialist 

Consumers Credit Union is looking to hire a passionate Spanish Help Like Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will assist Spanish-speaking members with their financial questions and concerns and deliver superior member service. 

What you will be doing: 

  • Maintain a positive and professional attitude while serving members and working with co-workers.
  • Respond to all member requests and service inquiries in a prompt and efficient manner to provide superior member service.
  • Actively listen and ask questions to determine member needs through written and verbal communication.
  • Serve as the main representative, taking calls, responding to chatbot, and calling members who left a voicemail.
  • Be proactive in accepting additional responsibilities and have broadened knowledge of various aspects of the credit union.
  • Educate members on products and services through written and verbal communication.
  • Recognize and act upon cross sell opportunities.
  • Provide Self-Service Support (Online Banking, Text Banking, Bill Pay, etc.) to members, including demonstrations.
  • Demonstrate advanced knowledge and navigate between various programs.
  • Able to answer member emails with professional and accurate written communication.
  • Assist in any area as directed by your supervisor or management.

What you will bring to the table: 

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Meet all skills and qualifications of a MSCR I or related experience.
  • Minimum 6 months experience as MSCR I or related experience.
  • Professional appearance; builds rapports with members; enjoys working with people.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of current technology. Able to easily navigate multiple software environments.
  • Knowledge of Specialty Accounts 
  • Understanding of credit union history, philosophy, culture, values, and vision. 
  • Understanding of credit union rules and regulations.
  • Understanding of Consumers operating policies and procedures.
