• Perform stakeholder requirement analysis, technological trend analysis, needs analysis, etc.,
• Analyze and determine the system level requirements,
• Perform coordination with other departments to ensure the most appropriate solution by performing trade-off analysis for alternative designs,
• Perform system architectural design, determine which hardware and software components the system will consist of, and define the static and dynamic relations of these components with each other,
• Perform detailed design of the system, determine the operating states and modes of the system,
• Design the system functional flows, determine the use cases, define failure and fault detection capabilities,
• Define the relationships between the system components on a functional and physical basis,
• Support the management in the preparation of project plans, determination of work packages, task management and other technical management activities,
• Coordinate and support design engineers to determine the technical specifications of the components developed in-house or outsourced,
• Coordinate and support design engineers in assembly, integration, testing and verification activities,
• Perform system level configuration management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from the Electrical and Electronics Engineering,
• At least six years of experience,
• Knowledge and experience in systems engineering standards, processes, methods and tools,
• Knowledge and experience in requirements analysis, conceptual design, system architectural design, etc.,
• Preferably have knowledge and experience in model-based systems engineering (MBSE),
• Knowledge and experience in satellite systems, satellite payloads, ground stations and related standards,
• Preferably have knowledge and experience in hardware design,
• Knowledge and experience in Matlab, engineering analysis tools and C++, Python etc. programming languages are desired requirements,
• Hands-on experience utilizing test devices, measurement systems and debugging tools,
• Knowledge in communication protocols such as serial, CAN, ETH etc.,
• Knowledge and experience in telecommunication systems and network protocol stacks,
• Knowledge and experience in system development methodologies like agile, incremental, spiral, etc.
• Very good English proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking.
