Spa Supervisor

The Role:

The Spa Supervisor at Domes Resorts will oversee the daily operations of the spa within the hotel, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, seamless operations, and compliance with health and safety standards. This role combines management responsibilities with guest service, aiming to provide a luxurious, relaxing, and safe environment for all guests. The Spa Supervisor will also be responsible for supporting the spa team, managing bookings, and coordinating with other hotel departments.

Some of the responsibilities:

  • Guest Experience
    • Handle guest inquiries, bookings, and complaints professionally and efficiently.
    • Ensure guests receive accurate information about spa services, products, and promotions.
  • Operations Management
    • Oversee daily spa operations, ensuring cleanliness, organization, and an optimal ambiance.
    • Manage spa bookings, staff scheduling, and service availability to maximize occupancy.
    • Monitor inventory of spa products, supplies, and equipment, and coordinate ordering as needed.
  • Team Leadership
    • Supervise spa therapists, receptionists, and other spa team members, ensuring adherence to service standards.
    • Train new team members on procedures, guest interaction, and product knowledge.
    • Motivate and guide team members to enhance productivity and improve guest satisfaction.
  • Health & Safety Compliance
    • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including sanitation and hygiene protocols.
    • Regularly inspect spa facilities, equipment, and tools, ensuring they meet quality and safety standards.
    • Report maintenance issues promptly and coordinate with engineering/maintenance teams for resolution.
  • Sales and Marketing
    • Drive retail sales by training team in product knowledge and upselling techniques.
    • Ensure all promotional materials are current and effectively displayed.

Requirements

Useful to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in cosmetology, Spa management, physiotherapy or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years at a Spa position, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role in a luxury hotel environment or luxury Spa.
  • Knowledge of English language, a second language will be considered a plus.
  • Excellent knowledge of spa therapies, services, treatments and products.
