Sourcing Manager - Hungary

TLDR

Manage supplier relationships and drive sourcing strategies while ensuring compliance with EU regulations and optimizing cost efficiency.

Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers to support local and global sourcing strategies
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to ensure cost competitiveness
Develop supplier performance metrics and manage ongoing relationships
Work closely with production, engineering, and logistics teams to align sourcing with operational needs
Manage risk and ensure compliance with company standards and EU regulations
Support localization strategies to improve lead times and cost efficiency
Continuously monitor market trends and identify new sourcing opportunities

Bachelor’s degree or above in Supply Chain, Business, or related field
5+ years of experience in sourcing or procurement, preferably in the manufacturing industry
Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
Familiar with global sourcing practices and local supply chain conditions in Europe
Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems
Fluent in English; proficiency in Mandarin is highly preferred
Must have legal working rights in the EU
