Source Throughput Analyst

Position Description: CSG is currently recruiting for Source Throughput Analyst ***Multiple Vacancies***. Candidate will use state-of-the-art computer hardware and software to search for, identify and monitor GEOINT data in a dense and dynamic environment. Position requires an advanced understanding in analysis of detected and pre-detected GEOINT event data to integrate multiple sources of information, identify clear patterns or trends, and draw reasonable, logical conclusions for GEOINT problems. Responsible for the identification and analysis of GEOINT event data to complete sound and timely products in marginally-defined, medium-risk situations. Requires frequent use and application of technical standards, principles, theories, concepts and techniques. Works in a 24/7 shift environment, work will be reviewed for soundness of technical judgment and overall adequacy. Must be able to express themselves clearly in interfacing with customer. Must be able to work either independently or in a team environment.

Job Description:

Familiarity with GEOINT Collection platforms and sensors designed to assist in GEOINT collection, production and visualization.
Familiarity with DoD and Intelligence Community management, policies, processes, and practices.
Demonstrate strong conceptual writing and presentation skills.
Familiarity with NSG operational capabilities and the mission of NGA/Source.
Knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of tools.
Familiarity with NSG’s Tasking, Collection, Processing, Exploitation, and Dissemination (TCPED) Processes.
Knowledge of NGA’s Enterprise Services Dissemination Processes and supporting architectures.
Familiarity with tasking tool, both WEB and CLASSIC, and WEB Fishtools.
Familiarity with PRISM for research and tasking of airborne requirements.
Familiarity with Geospatial Information Systems (GIS) software, as well as Web 2.0 tools and collaboration tools.
Familiartiy with all capabilities and use all GIMS functionalities to include but not limited to Advanced Search Dissemination Rules, Strategies, NGDS-Discovery Services, GIN Creation, GIN Modification and Approval, Tasking Dashboard, Supplier Management, OOI Target Creation, OOI Query, OOI Modification, OOI Management, AGI Search, Virtual File Folders, and UIM Approved Product Holdings (Report) Search.
Support the implementation of well designed dissemination strategies.
Support the development of collaborative networks for information sharing and will work to expand these networks so that others may benefit.
Have excellent level of oral and well written communication skills.
Demonstrate expert customer support skills.
Support in directing the activities of highly skilled technical and analytical teams responsible for developing solution to highly complex analytical/intelligence problems.

Journeyman:

3-10 years of Source Throughput Analyst Experience
A bachelor degree in a field related to the support services may count for up to four years of this experience.

Senior:

11-20 years of Source Throughput Analyst Experience
A bachelor degree in a field related to the support services may count for up to four years of this experience
A master degree in a field related to the support services may count for up to two additional years of this experience.

Expert:

20 or more years of experience of Source Throughput Analyst Experience
A bachelor degree in a field related to the support services may count for up to four years of this experience
A master degree in a field related to the support services may count for up to two additional years of this experience
A doctorate degree in a field related to the support services may count for up to three years of this experience
