The Mission
US manufacturing is a powerhouse running on legacy systems, fragmented data, and endless spreadsheets. You are here to change that.
As a Solutions Expert, you are the engine of CADDi’s US transformation. You aren't just implementing software; you are on the front lines of AI, helping manufacturers modernize their core operations. You will serve as akey bridgebetween factory-floor reality and world-class AI technology, taking complex customer challenges and turning them into functional, high-impact solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Discovery & Transformation: Lead deep-dive discovery sessions with client stakeholders (Procurement, Engineering, Quality) to identify operational bottlenecks and architect transformation initiatives.
- Solution Logic & Design: Design the comprehensive logical architecture for custom applications, defining data transformation rules, complex user workflows, and "North Star" success metrics.
- 0→1 Framework Creation: Develop repeatable frameworks and accelerators for US manufacturing challenges, turning bespoke customer wins into scalable product features.
- Deployment & Value Realization: Oversee the full lifecycle from "ambiguous problem" to "production value," partnering with Solutions Engineers to translate technical capabilities into tools that reduce RFQ cycle times and improve spend visibility.
- Executive Engagement: Facilitate QBRs and value assessments with customer leadership, communicating technical progress in terms of ROI, P&L impact, and expansion opportunities.
- Cross-Functional Roadmap: Serve as a key liaison to Product Management and Solutions Architects to ensure field-level innovations and "dirty data" challenges are integrated into the core product roadmap.
What Your Days Will Look Like
-
Discovery & Mapping: Interviewing Procurement and Engineering teams to document current workflows and data gaps.
-
Solution Configuration: Mapping customer data to CADDi’s platform to build actionable dashboards and tools.
-
On-the-Ground Delivery: Working with technical teams to ensure the solution is feasible, then training users to ensure it sticks.
-
Impact Reporting: Drafting clear updates for customer stakeholders that link tool usage to business outcomes.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Business Administration (with a manufacturing focus), or a related field. Masters is a plus.
- Experience: 3-5+ years of experience in manufacturing operations, industrial supply chain, or technical consulting. Experience at a top-tier management consulting firm or within a high-growth technology company is highly preferred.
- Domain Expertise: Deep understanding of manufacturing operational processes, including Bill of Materials (BOMs), RFQs, and procurement workflows.
- Technical Proficiency: High level of data and AI literacy; ability to articulate technical concepts (such as RAG or data architecture) to non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to structure ambiguity and treat complex operational processes as systems to be optimized.
- Legal: Must be a U.S. citizen or green card holder (due to ITAR or specific manufacturing compliance requirements).
