🚀 About the Role

We're looking for a Solutions Engineer who likes to build, not just support. You'll work directly with customers to integrate our products into their data stacks, assist our sales team in winning customers, and help shape a product at the forefront of modern data engineering. This is an early-stage startup where your work influences the roadmap, drives revenue, and matters from day one. If you thrive in the fast-paced environment of a small team, value ownership and close contact with both customers and product, this role is for you.

🗂️ Key Responsibilities

You'll work across the full customer journey, from first demo to production deployment, with a strong hands-on component:

• Help our customers implement and deploy dlt OSS in their systems
• Guide the onboarding and support for our upcoming paid offering - dltHub platform
• Build automations, speedup and simplify your tasks with AI
• Manage the full customer lifecycle
• Collaborate with our CEO to support the sales process, e.g. by building demos
• Be the voice of customer: gather feedback from customers and collaborate with the product team to address customer challenges and feature requests
• Manage customer-facing materials (documentation, presentations, website, training materials)
• Run training sessions with customers

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

✅ Qualifications

• You are based in Berlin and willing to work in our office regularly
• You have experience in a technical customer facing role (e.g. Solutions Engineer, Solutions Architect, Forward Deployed Engineer or similar)
• You have experience in a Data Engineering (or similar) role
• You are a quick learner, eager to explore new technologies
• You have working knowledge of Python and data landscape solutions

🎯 Nice to Have

• Experience teaching & communicating technical material
• Prior experience with dlt’s ecosystem, e.g.: Iceberg, dbt, Snowflake, Databricks, DuckDB, Relational databases (Postgres, MSSQL, Oracle, etc.), Airflow, Dagster
