Think you’re a fit for SAI360?

As a Solution Developer, you will be using our in-house developed platform to design and improve new and existing innovative solutions, while enhancing their functionality and effectiveness. You will be a part of a global team that is responsible for the development of solutions. The team is composed of product owners, user experience designers, and solution developers.

You enjoy working in an agile team and you want to contribute to the continuous improvement of the performance of your scrum team and the quality of our product. You will also be part of a lively development community who bring loads of experience to the table, giving you the opportunity to learn and grow.

The primary objectives and responsibilities of a Solutions Developer includes:

  • Build and adjust solution screens:
    • Configure forms, fields, and layouts that end users see.
    • Make certain front-end changes using technologies like HTML, JavaScript, and XML.
  • Work with data using SQL:
    • Write and adjust SQL queries to pull, filter, and update data.
    • Investigate issues by looking at the data behind the screens.
  • Be part of an Agile team:
    • Join regular team meetings to plan and review delivered features.
    • Give updates on your tasks and ask for help when you need it.
    • Help test and check that what the team delivers works as intended.
  • Work with product and UX:
    • Discuss requirements with Product Owners and designers.
    • Ask questions to clarify what needs to be built and why.
    • Offer suggestions when you see a better or simpler way to solve a problem.
  • Show what you’ve built:
    • Help prepare and give demos of new features to internal teams and sometimes to customers.
    • Take feedback and turn it into improvements.
  • Keep learning:
    • Grow your skills in SQL, front-end development, and our platform.
    • Read, experiment, and learn from more experienced developers in the team.

What you’ll bring to the table:

You don’t need years of experience. But you do need a good base and motivation to learn.

  • Education & Basics:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a similar field (or equivalent practical experience).
    • Basic understanding of how web applications work (browser, server, database).
  • Technical Skills:
    • Some experience with SQL (e.g., writing SELECT queries, joins, filters). Knowledge of Oracle is a plus.
    • Some exposure to front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, and XML.
    • Ability to read and roughly understand Java code is a plus (you won’t be writing it in this role, but good for potential growth).
    • Interest in working with configuration and light coding, rather than only pure programming.
  • How You Work:
    • You like to understand how things work and are willing to dig into details.
    • You are comfortable following a process but also asking “why” when something doesn’t make sense.
    • You can work on your own tasks, but you also enjoy being part of a team.
    • You are focused on getting to a working solution, not just finishing your part.
    • You are comfortable working with colleagues in different countries and time zones.
    • Strong written and spoken English.
