Solutions Architect

Job Description:

• Develop and maintain architecture roadmaps and reference models.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, business analysts, and stakeholders to design cohesive solutions.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies and platforms to meet evolving business needs.
• Lead design reviews and ensure architectural integrity across projects.
• Ensure that solutions comply with enterprise security, data governance, and compliance standards.
• Prepare technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and impact assessments.
• Actively participate in change management, risk assessment, and quality assurance processes.
• Provide architectural oversight during the entire project lifecycle—from concept to deployment.
• Proven expertise in Solution Architecture, System Integration, and Enterprise Application Design
• Strong analytical and design-thinking skills for large-scale IT systems
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement, especially with cross-functional teams and business units
• Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks and industry best practices in banking and financial services

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• Minimum 10+ years of experience in software development and systems design
• At least 5 years in Solution or Enterprise Architecture roles, ideally in regulated environments like banking or finance
• TOGAF or equivalent Enterprise Architecture certifications
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
• ITIL v3/v4 Certification
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or CISA – preferred for regulated industry roles
• Enterprise Architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman)
• Cloud platforms: Azure, AWS, or GCP
• Application integration using API gateways, REST, SOAP, message queues
• Microservices architecture, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Security, Identity and Access Management (IAM), and data encryption practices
• Architectural modeling tools (e.g., ArchiMate, Visio, Lucidchart)
• DevOps concepts and CI/CD pipelines
