HeadLight is looking for a new Solutions Architect to join the Product and Engineering team. As a Solutions Architect at Headlight, you enjoy working in a small, dynamic team whose goal is to build technology that is disrupting the construction industry and delivering modern solutions that solve problems at multiple levels of construction projects. The ideal Solutions Architect can explain problems and solutions, both technically and non-technically, to design implementations for our largest customers. You will then work with a solutions team to get buy-in from customers and drive implementations to completion.

HeadLight solutions are used on transportation construction projects nationwide; customers include state departments of transportation, top-tier consulting engineering firms, contractors, equipment manufacturers, and industry-related materials companies.

Job Description:

The Solutions Architect will report directly to the CTO and will work collaboratively to provide technical solutions for our customers and solutions team. The Solutions Architect also works with HeadLight’s enterprise customers post-sales to understand their complex ecosystem and to help define a technical roadmap for implementation. You will work alongside Project Management to identify resource constraints and determine what is feasible to ensure smooth delivery. The Solutions Architect will also serve as the trusted HeadLight technical advisor for our most important customers.

What You Will Get To Do:

• Lead post-sale discussions with customers to understand and document their technical needs and expectations for the HeadLight platform
• Work directly with customers to understand technical challenges in the pre- and post- implementation process
• Ensure the HeadLight platform is meeting/exceeding customer goals, providing solutions when technical challenges occur
• Collaborate cross functionally with success managers and project managers to find viable solutions for complex customer implementations
• Be the technical voice for the customer and successfully translate the customer’s product vision to HeadLight’s internal team
• Help maintain active, healthy adoption of the Headlight platform for our most valued enterprise customers
• Become an expert with the HeadLight platform in order to oversee complicated technical solution implementations
• This role requires travel of up to 50%

Requirements

• 6+ years of relevant experience, preferably in a post-sales SaaS environment
• Previous experience designing and managing implementation projects from initial fact finding discussions to completion
• Strong aptitude to work independently as well as in collaborative environments
• Strong ability to understand and break down technical jargon to a non-technical audience
• Proven experience providing solutions to complex customer requirements
• Experience working with scaling solutions is a huge plus

The salary range for the Solutions Architect role is $175,000-$200,000. Exact compensation will be based or adjusted on skills, experience and location. We will provide more information on our benefits and stock options upon requests.
