Role Overview

The Solutions Architect at Harvey.ai is a critical role that bridges the gap between our product team and client-facing teams. You will be responsible for explaining the technical aspects of Harvey, addressing security and architecture questions, configuring customer accounts, and ensuring seamless integration with our platform. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving upsell opportunities for additional SKUs and our API offerings.

What You'll Do

  • Collaborate closely with the Go To Market and Customer Success teams to articulate Harvey's architecture, security standards, API capabilities, and AI features to prospective and existing clients during the sales cycle

  • Articulate Harvey's proprietary AI technology at a deep technical level to enterprise stakeholders, including our model development approach, benchmarking methodologies, and technical processes, while positioning Harvey's capabilities within the broader AI landscape

  • Communicate Harvey's enterprise-grade security standards, compliance frameworks, and custom security configurations to audiences ranging from C-suite executives to technical security teams, tailoring the depth and framing appropriately

  • Lead API discovery and scoping conversations with prospects and customers to understand their integration requirements, use cases, and technical constraints, providing technical direction and support to their engineering teams without writing code directly

  • Assist in resolving bespoke or complex authentication requirements, including advanced SSO configurations, SCIM provisioning, and custom identity provider integrations

  • Ensure successful configuration and connection of third-party integrations to Harvey, including iManage, SharePoint, and other document management systems

  • Collaborate with the product team to provide feedback and insights based on customer interactions, helping to inform future product development

What You Have

  • 3-5 years of experience in a Solutions Architecture, Solutions Engineering, or Technical Sales role, ideally working with enterprise customers

  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, including authentication methods (OAuth, API keys), common integration patterns, and comfort discussing technical implementation details with customer engineering teams

  • Technical acumen with the ability to explain concepts like LLM behavior, security architecture, and API integrations to both technical and non-technical audiences

  • Experience navigating enterprise buying cycles and aligning with multiple stakeholders across legal, IT, and executive teams

  • Excellent communication skills with a talent for translating between customer needs and internal teams, including Product and Engineering

  • Demonstrated ability to work through ambiguity, prioritize effectively, and champion customer outcomes in fast-changing environments

  • A collaborative, low-ego approach—you enjoy working across functions, engaging with customers, and unblocking teammates

  • Curiosity about generative AI and excitement to learn about emerging technologies and how they apply in highly regulated industries

Bonus Points

  • Experience with LLM frameworks, legal tech, or working in high-trust, high-compliance environments

  • Experience with Azure cloud services, enterprise authentication protocols (SAML, OAuth, SCIM), and networking concepts (firewalls, proxies, VPNs)

  • Familiarity with enterprise document management systems like iManage, SharePoint, NetDocuments, or similar platforms

  • Prior experience at a high-growth startup

  • Background in software engineering, technical consulting, or professional services

Compensation
