Role Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-facing Solutions Engineer to join our go-to-market team. As a Solutions Engineer at Notable, you will play a critical role in driving new business by helping healthcare organizations understand and adopt our AI platform.
This role is focused on translating customer needs into clear, compelling solutions using Notable’s existing platform capabilities. You’ll partner closely with Sales and Delivery to lead discovery, deliver impactful demos, and position how our technology solves complex operational challenges across healthcare systems.
You’ll combine strong communication skills with technical fluency to guide customers through what’s possible, leveraging reusable assets and proven workflows rather than building from scratch. This is a highly visible role with direct impact on revenue and how Notable’s platform is brought to market.
What You’ll Do:
Technical Sales Execution
Lead discovery conversations with prospects, uncovering workflows, pain points, and opportunities for automation
Translate customer needs into clear solution narratives aligned to Notable’s existing platform capabilities
Deliver compelling, tailored demos that resonate with both technical and executive audiences
Position Notable’s strengths and differentiators, focusing on how our platform can solve real-world healthcare challenges
Partner closely with Sales to progress deals, supporting technical validation and customer confidence
Collaborate with Delivery and Product to ensure proposed solutions are feasible and aligned with how the platform is implemented
Platform & Solution Enablement
Develop deep fluency in Notable’s platform, core workflows, and reusable assets
Leverage and continuously refine demo environments, playbooks, and solution frameworks to improve consistency and scalability
Contribute to evolving how we package and present solutions, focusing on repeatability over one-off builds
Support the creation and improvement of internal and customer-facing materials that highlight platform capabilities
Provide structured feedback to Product and Engineering on customer needs, gaps, and emerging use cases
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work across Sales, Delivery, Product, and Marketing to ensure alignment on solution positioning
Participate in group technical discussions and evaluations, helping stress-test and refine solution approaches
Contribute to a culture of shared learning by collaborating with peers and elevating team-wide best practices
What We’re Looking For:
3–5+ years in Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, or a similar customer-facing technical role in SaaS/PaaS
Strong experience leading discovery and delivering demos in a presales environment
Ability to translate complex customer workflows into clear, structured solution narratives
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with comfort engaging executive stakeholders
Familiarity with healthcare systems (e.g., Epic, Oracle Health/Cerner) and concepts like HL7 and FHIR
Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to map customer needs to platform capabilities
Ability to manage multiple deals and priorities in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to travel ~50% as needed for customer engagements and company events
Nice to Have:
Experience with workflow or automation tools (e.g., Flow Builder, Zapier, or similar platforms)
Background in healthcare technology, digital health, or clinical/operational environments
Experience building or improving demo assets, playbooks, or reusable presales frameworks
Exposure to AI-driven products or automation platforms
We value in-person collaboration and connection. For Bay Area–based employees, this role requires being in our San Mateo office at least three days a week. For remote employees, occasional travel to headquarters is expected for company-wide events and onsite gatherings.
