Solution Delivery Manager

Resource Innovations is seeking a Solution Delivery Manager to serve as Program Manager joining our growing team in California. The ideal candidate will be located in Southern California, ideally in or around Los Angeles. As a Solution Delivery Manager with Resource Innovations, you will lead utility Energy Efficiency and Demand Response programs, serve as the primary point of contact for clients and partners, foster a collaborative and productive culture focused on continuous improvement, and deliver on contractual requirements. The Solution Delivery Manager will play a highly visible role both internally and externally and will be responsible for leading multiple residential and commercial demand response programs, developing trusted relationships with clients, industry stakeholders, and program partners. The Solution Delivery Manager will effectively redirect the team and/or program approach in response to program evolution, new knowledge, or unexpected events or circumstances. This position requires excellent planning, partner coordination, budgeting, forecasting, and a problem-solving mentality. The successful candidate will have five or more years of direct experience managing residential or commercial programs.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee project and program contracts, scopes, budgets, and teams with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Communicate key objectives, strategies, and priorities to a variety of stakeholders and contributors.
  • Identify, define, quantify, track, and drive program deliverables to be submitted accurately and on time.
  • Create annual plans and deliver results.
  • Oversee program performance and reporting for energy efficiency and demand response programs in California.
  • Coordinate across teams internally and externally on client deliverables, and present to different stakeholders, when appropriate.
  • Continuously assess program progress to goal and develop innovative and creative solutions to new issues and/or market dynamics.
  • Manage program implementation including development of work plans to meet goals, aligning staff and partner assignments, and providing accurate forecasting both internally and to clients.
  • Develop, manage, provide excellent customer service, and foster partnerships with clients, end-use utility customers, vendors, delivery team members, program partners and other industry stakeholders.
  • Manage client expectations, satisfaction, communications, and resolve and/or escalate client issues.
  • Collaborate with key internal teams such as IT, Marketing, Finance, HR, Advisory Services, software, marketplace, outreach, data analysis, and customer service to develop efficiencies to meet program needs.
  • Ensure compliance with all contract and program requirements.
  • Coordinate day-to-day aspects of projects including quality of work product, client communications, partner communications, scheduling, and utilizing internal and external delivery team members to deliver results.
  • Establish and maintain a professional rapport with clients and partners, including identifying and anticipating needs and proposing solutions.
  • Promptly and accurately address client concerns to assure problem resolution and promote long-term productive relationships.
  • Coordinate with client, delivery team members, and industry partners to identify program challenges and opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaboratively develop, present, and implement recommendations to enhance go-to-market strategies and operational efficiencies.
  • Facilitate effective change management.
  • Recommend and implement innovative program improvements with a focus on being nimble and flexible to meet client and customer needs.
  • Balance innovation with risk management.
  • Bring a positive, action-oriented attitude to the workplace.  
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Energy, Environment, Engineering, Economics, or Business or a related field of study is required
  • Minimum of 5 years of work experience with Residential or Commercial/Industrial customer focused utility programs.
  • A strong understanding of energy efficiency and demand response programs and measures.

Desired Requirements

  • Master’s degree in a related field is preferred.
  • Experience with Commercial & Industrial Demand Response programs preferred
  • Demonstrated experience with project management and proven success in developing and implementing project scopes, budgets, forecasts, and plans.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities while balancing schedules and budgets.
  • Excellent organizational, writing, verbal, communication, interpersonal, presentation, and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook, and PowerPoint, as well as familiarity with SharePoint, Asana, and Monday.com. 
  • Experience collaborating on software product integration into service offerings.
  • Interest in sustainability and passionate about making a meaningful impact on the environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to think critically in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to collaborate well at all levels within an organization and a team-player.
  • Ability and interest in working with a highly collaborative team.
  • Experience with strategic planning and customized solutions vs. one-size-fits-all products.

Compensation & Benefits

Resource Innovations offers competitive salaries based on a candidate's skills, experience and qualifications for the position.  The compensation range for the base salary for this position is $100,000-140,000. In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus.  The stated salary represents the expected compensation for this position. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as the candidate's experience, education and location.
