Who are we?

Volt Lines is the only technology-enabled player in the Turkish market competing against legacy incumbents and it reduces emissions and traffic by turning premium 16-seater buses into a viable alternative to single occupancy vehicles.

What we do?

In Istanbul, over 50,000 buses operate at 31% efficiency. These buses, which contribute to the city's traffic with empty seats, could also be the solution to its problem. Volt Lines is the only shuttle service provider that has both software as well as a transport service. This allows for optimal harmonization of the software and operation resulting in the creation of great experiences and services. Notable examples of these innovative services include DRT and Marketplace. DRT (short for Demand-Responsive Transport) was covered by a Harvard Business School case study that is being taught at the MBA school. Marketplace on the other hand allows companies to sell empty seats on their buses to neighboring passengers who are going in the same direction at the same time.

We're looking for Solution Center Associates (Part-time) to join us in shaping the future of urban transportation using the latest technologies.

Responsibilities

Customer Support

  • Update passenger records on the platform based on customer requests (adding/removing passengers).
  • Organize and record service time and route changes.
  • Resolve day-to-day passenger and shuttle-related issues quickly and effectively.
  • Record and categorize complaints using the internal ticketing system.
  • Coordinate with relevant teams to develop and execute resolution plans.
  • Follow up with customers to confirm satisfaction and closure.
  • Analyze recurring complaints and recommend process improvements.

Driver Support

  • Conduct orientation training for newly onboarded drivers.
  • Forward driver/vendor inquiries and complaints from the call center to relevant teams.
  • Deliver refresher training for existing drivers when necessary.
  • Follow up with the drivers on missing/expired documents.

Sales Support

  • Make outbound calls to potential clients to introduce Volt Lines' products and services.
  • Analyze customer needs during conversations and refer qualified leads to the sales team.

Requirements

  • 3rd or 4th year undergraduate student in a relevant department
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
