We are looking for a Solution & Automation Engineer who wants to build the technical backbone of our autonomous energy operations. Your focus will be to design, automate, and continuously improve the processes that allow us to run all energy operations fully autonomously.
You will:
Build and maintain core operational automations (e.g. forecasting workflows, meter data ingestion, billing triggers)
Create integration pipelines for external data sources (market data, meter data, customer systems)
Structure, normalize, and validate energy data across systems (APIs, CSV, EDI, portals)
Design and automate workflows for customer onboarding, billing, and energy portfolio operations
Implement internal tools for founders, ops, and product using low-code and code-based automation stacks
Work closely with the CTO to build an automation-first operations architecture
Collaborate with the operations team to understand pain points and translate them into scalable solutions
Build technical bridges to GTM by integrating customer-facing systems with operational workflows to ensure smooth data flow from sales to operations
Document processes and ensure reliability, observability, and compliance of the automations you build
Experience with automation tools (Make, n8n, Zapier) or willingness to learn them fast
Strong technical background in APIs, scripting, or workflow automation
Comfortable working with data (JSON, CSV, SQL) and connecting fragmented systems
Process-oriented mindset with a passion for eliminating manual work
Ability to understand operational needs and translate them into clean technical solutions
Bonus: experience in energy operations or a related operational environment
Bonus: familiarity with European energy data standards, market communication, EDI formats, or forecasting workflows
