Solution Architect

Our teams work with clients right across the stack; UX, UI design, frontend, backend, analytics, infrastructure, operations - everything needed to deliver great products.

We are continuing to grow, and are seeking  Solution Architects to strengthen the link between product strategy, customer requirements, and technical implementation.

As a Solution Architect focused on BSS/OSS solutions, you will be the key technical leader defining the architecture for customer implementations. You will also play a key role in shaping the evolution of our core product platform. This is a strategic, customer-facing role that demands strong domain knowledge, architectural depth, and excellent communication skills. Your work will ensure our solutions are scalable, robust, and closely aligned with complex customer needs.

You will

Solution Architecture

• Own the end-to-end technical architecture for customer-specific implementations, ensuring alignment with product strategy and industry best practice
• Translate high-level business requirements and Statements of Work into clear, actionable technical designs
• Select appropriate technologies, frameworks, and deployment models to meet performance, scalability, and security needs
• Contribute to the evolution of the core product architecture and recommend strategic improvements

Customer and Presales Leadership

• Act as the lead technical expert in customer engagements, workshops, and presales activities, clearly articulating the vision, architecture, and value of our solutions
• Develop high quality  technical responses for RFPs and RFIs
• Design and oversee proof of concepts and demonstrations to validate architectural approaches
• Collaborate with the sales and product teams to estimate effort and resource requirements for proposed solutions

Delivery Governance

• Provide architectural governance across the project lifecycle, ensuring agreed designs and quality standards
• Work closely with the engineering teams to guide technical implementation
• Ensure solutions are designed for operational excellence including monitoring, logging, and disaster recovery

Technology and Domain Expertise

• Maintain strong knowledge of core telecom BSS/OSS concepts
• Stay current with emerging technologies, particularly AI applications in the telecom sector, cloud-native architectures, and relevant industry standards such as TM Forum Open APIs
• Deeply understand Carrier Ethernet and FTTP architectures to effectively design solutions that serve these specific markets.

Requirements

You may be a fit for this role if you

Have strong solution architecture experience in telecom

• Background as a Solution Architect, Technical Architect or Principal Engineer in the BSS/OSS space
• Solid understanding of microservices and event-driven architectural patterns for scalable, transactional systems
• Experience designing complex system integrations using APIs, messaging or ETL tools

Bring meaningful BSS/OSS domain knowledge

• Familiarity with areas such as product catalogues, order management, billing or service fulfilment
• Understanding of Carrier Ethernet or FTTP architectures is an advantage, not a requirement

Work well with customers and cross-functional teams

• Comfortable leading workshops, pre-sales discussions and technical explorations
• Able to bridge business needs and technical solutions with clarity and confidence

Collaborate effectively across the delivery lifecycle

• Experience working closely with engineering teams in an Agile environment
• Able to guide implementation teams while staying pragmatic and outcome-focused

Have modern engineering awareness

• Experience with cloud platforms and cloud-native approaches is highly desirable
• Interest or experience applying AI or ML within telecom solutions is a plus

Communicate clearly and confidently

• Strong written and spoken English
• Skilled at presenting and whiteboarding technical concepts to both technical and executive audiences
