Our client in the Information Technology and Services industry is looking for a Solution Architect with strong expertise in core banking and current account journeys, including loans and account switching. The role involves designing, developing, and implementing technology solutions for complex banking systems, ensuring scalability, resiliency, and security. The Solution Architect will collaborate with stakeholders across business and technology, own architecture delivery for core banking programs, and guide integration strategies while balancing cloud adoption, automation, and compliance.

What you will do:

  • Lead design and technical architecture for loans, savings/current accounts, account switching, and payments with a focus on scalability, resiliency, security, and regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers, Product Owners, and Business Analysts to align solutions with business requirements and risk controls for current accounts.
  • Manage architectural governance by producing design artifacts for privacy, records management, and risk.
  • Advise business and product teams, supporting technical delivery and innovation in the banking landscape.
  • Evaluate and integrate vendor products, support systems strategy, and automate operational processes to reduce manual intervention.
  • Broad knowledge of current account and core banking landscapes, payment schemes, and architecture paradigms (cloud, APIs, DevOps, security).
  • Prior experience in cards and payments domain, including card issuance and authorization journeys.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence strategy across multiple teams and business functions.
  • Experience with workforce planning tools and reporting platforms such as Excel, PowerPoint, JIRA, Tableau, and Confluence.
  • Proven ability to deliver solutions within large matrix organizations and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
