Solution Architect

Anticipated Contract End Date/Length: September 30, 2026
Work Set Up: Hybrid (BPSS clearance required)

Our client in the Information Technology and Services industry is looking for a Solution Architect to define and maintain enterprise and solution architectures for insurance systems, ensuring alignment with business goals and transformation initiatives.

What you will do:

• Define and maintain enterprise and solution architectures for insurance systems (policy, billing, claims, underwriting) in line with business objectives.
• Create “as-is” and “to-be” architectures and roadmaps, ensuring alignment with the enterprise strategic vision.
• Govern architectural standards, principles, and policies by setting up and chairing architecture review boards.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and technology teams to synchronize technology roadmaps with insurance product offerings and compliance standards.
• Architect API-first and microservices-based integration solutions, connecting policy, billing, and claims platforms (e.g., Guidewire) with internal and external systems.
• Oversee implementation of Guidewire Edge APIs, GX Models, Messaging Framework, and Integration Gateway.
• Lead data migration and legacy modernization efforts, ensuring seamless transformation to modern insurance platforms.

• Proven experience as a Solution Architect within insurance systems, including policy, billing, claims, and underwriting.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture principles and governance processes.
• Expertise in API-first and microservices-based integration solutions.
• Hands-on experience with Guidewire platforms and related integration frameworks.
• Ability to lead data migration and legacy modernization projects.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with business and technology stakeholders.
• Eligibility for BPSS clearance.
