About Fasset

Fasset is building the next generation of regulated digital asset and financial infrastructure. Our engineering team works on highly scalable, secure, and compliant platforms spanning fintech, digital banking, and Web3.

We are looking for a hands-on Solution Architect who can design and drive high-performance, scalable systems while working closely with engineering, product, and security teams.



Key Responsibilities

  • Design, evolve, and govern scalable, high-performance system architectures across multiple platforms and services.
  • Lead architectural decisions around microservices, event-driven systems, and distributed architectures.
  • Work hands-on with engineering teams to ensure designs are practical, secure, and production-ready.
  • Define and enforce API-first design principles, including REST APIs and WebSockets.
  • Design resilient CI/CD pipelines, deployment strategies, and cloud-native solutions.
  • Ensure systems meet security, performance, availability, and compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with product, engineering, DevOps, and security teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
  • Provide architectural guidance, reviews, and mentorship to engineers.



Required Skills & Experience

  • Based in Islamabad or willing to relocate.
  • Strong hands-on experience designing and building high-performance, scalable systems.
  • Deep understanding of:
    • Microservices architecture
    • Event-driven architecture
    • Common architectural and integration patterns
  • Proven experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar messaging/streaming platforms.
  • Strong expertise in CI/CD pipelines, deployments, and cloud platforms (preferably AWS).
  • Solid experience with:
    • Relational databases (RDBMS) and data modeling
    • NoSQL databases
  • Hands-on development experience with Java (Spring Boot) and/or Node.js.
  • Strong understanding of secure coding practices, application security, and system hardening.
  • Excellent grasp of:
    • REST APIs
    • WebSockets
    • API-first design and contract-driven development



Preferred Experience

  • Prior experience in Fintech, Digital Banking, or Web3 environments.
  • Experience working in regulated or compliance-heavy environments.
  • Familiarity with high-throughput, low-latency systems.
