Solution Architect

Overview:

We are looking for a Senior Solution Architect with up to 10 years of experience to support the design of software application solutions. This role is focused on software application design, not development, and requires the ability to analyze business requirements, frame them within our reference application architecture, and ensure alignment with governance, security, and technology architecture principles.
The ideal candidate should combine strong communication skills, critical thinking, problem-solving ability, and the capacity to work collaboratively with global teams, while ensuring quality of deliveries and clear architectural documentation.

What will you do?

• Analyze business requirements and frame them within our reference application architecture
• Design logical architecture solutions with simple impacts on the architecture supporting the business units
• Define and specify APIs
• Define application integrations of simple complexity
• Produce clear architecture documentation in compliance with governance rules
• Communicate defined security, application, and technological architecture rules
• Promote the adoption of defined architectural and security rules autonomously
• Work collaboratively with global teams

What are we looking for?

• Up to 10 years of experience in the role
• Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or similar
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in a collaborative environment and with global teams
• Strong critical analysis and problem-solving skills
• Commitment to quality of deliveries
• Consolidated knowledge of the various types of architectural pieces
• Focus on clear documentation of the architecture and compliance with governance rules
• Clear communication of defined security, application, and technological architecture, and autonomous ability to persuade their adoption
• English - mandatory
• Portuguese - valued
• Spanish - valued
• Availability to work in a hybrid model: 3 days in the office (Lisbon) and 2 days remote

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of the Energy & Utilities market and GDPR
• Knowledge of Agile methodology, JIRA, and Confluence tools
• Experience in projects
• Architecture certifications such as MS, Cloud, or similar
• Solution Architect specialized in software application design, not development
• Specifications for application integrations of simple complexity
• Consolidated knowledge of different types of integration platforms, integration standards, and new market trends
• Experience with SAP systems such as SAP ERP and SAP HANA, among others
• Documentation of logical architecture solution designs with simple impacts on the architecture supporting the BUs
• Design and specification of APIs
