Solution Architect BM RANI (REF3174I)

As an architect, you will be responsible for clarifying and understanding business and technology requirements. Designing and optimizing an IT architecture in accordance with the architectural vision and guardrails. Analyse the business and technical requirements for software, platforms and/or infrastructure for consumer and business customers. Working closely with Solution Designers, Lead Developers and the business side as well to turn business requirements into architectural solutions that can be quickly, innovatively and very flexibly implemented in an agile manner to meet the needs of areas such as 5G Network Slicing, Open RAN, IoT, Industry 4.x or Mobile Gaming.

Your essential tasks will further include:

• You will accompany projects from the beginning, from the design phase, then to the architectural design, during the development, up to the project launch (lifecycle)
• You will be responsible for the architecture across the entire lifecycle of the product
• You will offer comprehensive consulting expertise from the architecture point of view at any time
• You think innovatively, you follow the latest technological trends and you then contribute these as innovation ideas
• You propose an architecture design, accompany the solution designers and lead developers and ensure that the provided architecture standard and guardrails are followed in every lifecycle of the development
• You are responsible for the creation and maintenance of the architecture documentation
• You lead the projects

You have a university degree with a focus on computer science or a comparable qualification and already have several years of professional experience in the IT architecture environment.
Furthermore, you are characterized by the following knowledge and skills:

• Technology and methodology expertise at the current state of the art: Network Design, Operation Support Systems & Solutions, Domain Orchestration.
• You have experience in functional and technological architecture. You are familiar with terms such as modularization, functional decoupling.
• You have an understanding of processes and their orchestration according to business requirements
• Hands-on experience in deploying integration technologies, modularization, Open API, AI/AI, cloud-native solutions.-
• Cross-cultural experience in offshore projects
• Solid experience in agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe Framework).
• Business fluent in English

Advantage:

• Knowledge of technological mobile radio platforms (4G, 5G, Open RAN, Hybrid Networks)
• German language skills

DigiHub BM RAN Infrastructure is responsible for the agile development and operation of the, for planning, deployment, inventory, configuration and optimization of the mobile access network, required IT services, as well as the interfaces to assurance and workforce control. The business focus of RAN Infrastructure is on high network coverage and high quality in front of the customer. Therefore DigiHub ensures the integration and rollout of new network structures (Small Cells, 5G, ...) as well as network layouts (i.e. explosion of the number of cells, macro to Small Cells) in an automated way. The goal is to ensure the high quality, coverage, capacity and innovation and thus also the award "Best Network" also for the future.
