Ventus Executive Solutions (VES) is seeking a skilled Solid Rocket Motor Tech to support an innovative program. The ideal candidate will have extensive Solid Rocket Motor (SRM) knowledge. Candidate will focus on propulsion design, fabrication, and production. Join our innovative team and contribute to impactful national security initiatives.

 

Work Location: On Site Arlington, VA

 

Pre-Requisites:

 

  • Proven leadership in developing and testing advanced materials for extreme environments relevant to propulsion systems
  • Expert in high-temp materials science, including manufacturing/processing, characterization, testing and performance evaluation
  • Experience collaborating with domestic ecosystem for advanced materials and manufacturing, including industry and service laboratories
  • Demonstrated program management success, including: Funding and contract management; Team leadership, stakeholder engagement, and cultivating technology transition; Project lifecycle management (from requirements analysis to verification and validation); and Risk management, achieving performance metrics
  • Experience with development of test platforms and operations
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations, standards, and policies related to propulsion systems

 

Required Experience:

 

  • Ability to quickly learn unfamiliar technical areas; highly adaptable to change
  • Resilient in supporting dynamic program environments
  • Persistence to find technical and administrative solutions and break down roadblocks
  • Strong organization and project management skills
  • Excellent written/oral skills; and visually present narratives via PowerPoint
  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering or related Scientific discipline
  • Secret Clearance with ability to be cleared to higher levels

 

Desired Experience:

 

  • Specific experience with dynamic thrust control or solid rocket motors (SRM) is highly desired but not required.
