Job Description

The Software Sync Engineer will be responsible for adapting and integrating features across multiple releases within a large-scale codebase. The role involves working on software for advanced lithography machines for a leading global technology client. This position requires strong programming skills, version control expertise, and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams to ensure smooth and timely code synchronization.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to define scope, goals, and deliverables.
• Understand and deconstruct existing code solutions within a complex codebase.
• Provide accurate estimations for assigned tasks.
• Implement new features and enhancements.
• Resolve complex merge conflicts and maintain consistency across releases.
• Execute initial testing and contribute to the development process.
• Ensure timely delivery of tasks and provide frequent progress updates.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or equivalent 
• 2–6 years of experience in programming with Python and C/C++.
• Strong experience with Git and GitHub.
• Hands-on experience working in Linux environments.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks or tools.
• Solid understanding of software development processes and best practices.
• Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal).
• Ability to understand and interpret complex technical information.
• Knowledge of software integration strategies.

Nice to Have

• Experience with ClearCase (VersionVault).
• Knowledge of advanced version control concepts.
• Background in software configuration management.
• Familiarity with ASML integration and development processes.
• Understanding of advanced software engineering concepts.
