Role Summary

We are looking for a Software Quality Assurance Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of our cutting-edge web applications and Generative AI systems. In this role, you will design and build scalable automation frameworks, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to high-quality, secure, and user-centric products. Key Responsibilities:

Automation Framework & Test Engineering

• Design, build, and maintain scalable automation frameworks (Playwright preferred or Cypress) for UI, API (REST), and full end-to-end flows.

GenAI Quality

• Build innovative test strategies for AI-driven features—accuracy, relevance, bias detection, prompt injection vulnerabilities, and managing non-deterministic outputs.

Process & Collaboration

• Analyze and improve quality processes; conduct risk analysis.
• Partner closely with Product Managers, engineers, and data scientists to embed quality from the start.

Performance & Monitoring

• Develop methods to measure key performance metrics such as AI model response times and overall production stability.

Mentorship

• Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.

Requirements

Knowledge (Must Have)

• Strong understanding of API testing principles and tools (e.g., Postman).
• Deep knowledge of QA methodologies, Agile/Scrum practices, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency in Git.
• Expertise in JavaScript or TypeScript.

Knowledge (Nice to Have)

• Familiarity with Generative AI or Machine Learning concepts (e.g., prompt engineering, model evaluation).
• Understanding how to test non-deterministic systems.

Skills & Experience:

Must Have

• 3–5+ years of QA experience with a focus on building automation frameworks from scratch.
• Hands-on experience with modern automation tools (Playwright preferred; Cypress acceptable).
• Ability to test UI, API (REST), and complex user flows.
• Experience conducting risk analysis and evaluating quality processes.

Nice to Have

• Experience testing AI/ML systems.
• Experience in performance monitoring (AI model latency, system stability).

General Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex ideas to global teams.
