Quality Assurance Engineer – Automation

We are looking for QA Engineers with 2–3 years of experience to join our exciting and rapidly expanding team in Sri Lanka. This is a hands-on testing role, where you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of application components within SYNERGEN’ s Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) Platform, used by leading healthcare organizations in the United States. You will leverage your in depth knowledge of Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, and Java to work closely with architects, engineers, and product owners in the development of complex applications. You will also be expected to uphold the highest quality standards across both functional and non-functional testing areas.

Responsibilities

  • Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
  • Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities within SCRUM teams.
  • Design, develop, and execute UI and API automation scripts.
  • Provide feedback and recommendations on upcoming features from a quality assurance perspective.
  • Perform quality control tasks across multiple teams.
  • Stay up to date with emerging testing tools, methodologies, and test strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of proven experience as a software tester or QA engineer.
  • Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, or similar automation tools.
  • Experience in API testing, with familiarity in tools such as Rest Assured.
  • Experience implementing quality improvements in an Agile development environment.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (Git or similar).
  • Strong attention to detail and a quality-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent technical problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Prior experience in writing and maintaining automated test scripts.
