As a Quality Assurance Engineer at Arteris, your role will be to participate in the validation process of one of the company’s software solutions. You will be responsible for defining comprehensive test plans to validate the software, implementing automated tests, and integrating them into the continuous validation process. You will also be required to manually test the software suite on an ongoing basis and ahead of official releases, with the goal of suggesting improvements, reporting bugs, and supplementing/strengthening automated tests.
Your main responsibilities will be:
Propose and write, in collaboration with developers and other validation engineers, complete test plans to cover all product features
Develop automated tests in Python
Keep tests up to date as the product and its features evolve
Manually validate the software ahead of each official release
Report bugs quickly to the development team
Continuously suggest improvements to the user experience and other aspects of the product
Required Experience and Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in QA (software quality validation) or software development in production
3+ years of experience in Python development or another object-oriented programming language
Ability to write technical documents (English required)
Nice to have:
Proficiency with JIRA/X-Ray/Jenkins
Experience with Squish or similar testing platforms
Experience with the Qt framework or similar
Experience in the semiconductor industry
Experience using EDA (Electronic Design Automation) software
