Ventus Solutions is seeking a skilled Software Integration Lead to support an innovative program. The ideal candidate will support the program by assessing, managing, and coordinating software baselines across the Navy’s Lightweight (LWT) and Heavyweight (HWT) torpedo systems. The candidate will focus on ensuring software interoperability and configuration alignment among combat systems, launch platforms, and test ranges.

This position emphasizes technical coordination and systems integration. The selected candidate will work closely with engineering, logistics, and Fleet introduction teams to synchronize software changes, documentation, and configuration data across multiple weapon variants. Required Experience:

 

  • 8+ years of experience supporting U.S. Navy or D0D systems engineering, integration, or configuration management programs.
  • Demonstrated experience managing and assessing software baselines for complex weapon or combat system programs.
  • Knowledge of Navy software configuration management and interface documentation practices.
  • Ability to coordinate and communicate across engineering, logistics, and test teams to ensure software alignment and interoperability.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
  • Active DoD Secret clearance.

 

Desired Experience:

 

  • Familiarity with undersea weapons systems such as MK 48 HWT and MK 54 LWT torpedoes.
  • Experience managing Interface Control Documents (ICDs), Configuration Status Accounting (CSA), and software change control processes.
  • Knowledge of Combat System Integration (CSI) , Configuration Status Account (CSA) and software change processes.
  • Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
  • Active Top Secret clearance

  

The expected salary range for this position is $125,000–$160,000. This range represents a good-faith estimate and is not a guarantee; final compensation is determined by factors such as experience, qualifications, and government contract labor rate requirements and may fall outside the stated range.
